Court of Protection

If a loved one has not made a Lasting Power of Attorney and lacks the mental capacity to manage their affairs, it will be necessary to apply for an Order from the Court of Protection to become a Deputy. This Order provides an individual with the power to manage the incapacitated person’s affairs.
